MINUTES OF SELECTMEN MEETING – May 17, 2010 5:00 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr., Steven DellaGiustina and Thomas Paine
Also Present: Susan Voudren
Susan asked when the work being done at the new building site will be completed so that the Department of Public Works could continue with cleaning the drainage ditches and culverts on Hartland Road. One of the culverts that she had mentioned was found and has collapsed. The continuing of cleaning the ditches and culverts will be complete sometime this summer.
At the Budget Hearing it was mentioned by Lester Walker that a salary increase of 2% for the Department of Public Works should be at 3%. Lester was told that he could make that motion at the Annual Town Meeting. If this motion is made Sue suggests that someone should make that recommendation for all departments.
Sue also asked if the board would look into the replacement of the air conditioner in the offices at the Town Hall. The current air conditioner is original to the building.
The board met with the Finance Committee to further discuss the Fiscal 2011 budget.
